I'm Sean O'Byrne — a bilingual electrical engineer at Callidus Engineering, designing power, lighting, fire alarm, communication, security, and life-safety systems for buildings in every sector: multi-unit residential, insitutional, educational, municipal, streetlighting, and with a primary focus on healthcare project delivery.
What I do
Electrical design, end to end.
Healthcare
Hospital additions, renovations, pharmacies, cyclotron facilities, cleanrooms, imaging departments (MRI, CT, X-ray), emergency departments, operating rooms, you name it and I've probably done it.
Buildings & MUR
Electrical design for multi-unit residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, basically any type of building! Power, lighting, lighting control, communications, life safety - all in my wheelhouse.
Energy & EV
EV charging feasibility studies, power load and quality analysis, power coordination and arc flash studies.
Life Safety
Fire alarm design and replacement, nurse call, security and access control systems, emergency lighting and exit signage.
